The FEIS was issued by the USCG for public review. The Notice of Availability of the FEIS was published in the Federal Register dated August 13, 2010.  The FEIS analyzed the potential for impact to the natural and manmade environment by the proposed Goethals Bridge Replacement Project. The FEIS was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), as amended.   

The public review period for the FEIS ended September 13, 2010.

The Coast Guard executed its Record of Decision (ROD) on January 31, 2011.
